June 9, 2008 - The Chicago Throwbacks next tryout will be held in Fort Wayne Indiana Saturday July 26, 2008 location to be announced later this week.
May 21, 2008 - Tryouts are less than two weeks away."Players are able to register at the door. We are looking for every position. Players of interest will be asked to play in a few games of the Chicago pro-am. We are looking for hard working professionals. Seven out of our twelve player roster last year came from our tryouts. We definitely believe that tryouts are a good way to evaluate players in terms of their conditioning and determination.", said George Bellevue.
May 7, 2008 - "We are looking to overhaul our roster. We were competetive but were missing key pieces to allow us to be a winning organization. April 17, 2008 - The Chicago Throwbacks tryout will be held Sunday June 8, 2008 at Attack Athletics 2641 W Harrison Chicago, IL 60612. Registration forms can be downloaded by clicking on the tryout registration form above. Forms and fees are due by May 21, 2008. There will be a $25.00 late registration fee after the due date. "We are looking to overhaul our team. We need a fresh start and are looking for talent", said owner George Bellevue.
March 25, 2008 - The Chicago Throwbacks season is over but the Throwbacks are planning on having a busy offseason. The Chicago Throwbacks will be hosting tryouts, sponsorship dinners, fundraisers and community events. The Throwbacks are also looking for interns in Sales & Marketing. "We feel that despite being an expansion team, we accomplished alot. We brought affordable family entertainment to Chicago. We were competitive and will continue to build our organization in the months to come", said owner George Bellevue.
March 19, 2008 - The Chicago Throwbacks lose to the Arkansas Impact 115 - 102 in the first round of the playoffs. "First I would like to congratulate Arkansas for winning the game. Our team took to many plays off to defeat a hungry aggressive Arkansas team", said head coach Donnie Boyce.
